Membership Levels Free: FREE to join. Elgible to win the monthly photo contest.
All-Star: Join for $10 per year. Elgible to win the monthly photo contest ($25.00 per sports category), the monthly Profile contest($200.00), the Sunday Sound Bite contest ($25 per winner), able to upload sound to your member profile, and will be able to earn money by posting your affiliate banner in your profile.
Monthly Photo Contest This is a monthly contest that allows members to post sports-related photos showing their fan spirit. Members and the general public are able to view the photos, vote on them, and also leave comments. The photos with the highest ranking at the end of the month will be deemed the winner. Ranking is determined by the net value of Rank-it/Trash-it points, positive/negative comments, and photo views. The countdown located on the home page lets members know how much time is left in the contest. Once the contest is finished, the winners will be shown in the Contest Winners tab under the Monthly Photo link. Each photo contest winner will receive $2.50 in virtual dollars towards his/her Profile value. This is important as the $2.50 in virtual dollars will help increase your odds of winning the Monthly Profile Contest (All-Star members only).
There may be up to a total of 11 winners per month for the Photo Contest; one recipient per sports category. If there should be a tie at the end of the contest, the member with the earliest timestamp in uploading/posting the photo to the Fanranker site will be deemed the winner.
Monthly Profile Contest This is a monthly contest that allows members to have a chance to win $200 every month. This contest has several factors involed as each members' Profile is valuated based on the Fanranker point system in virtual USD. Each month, the member with the highest Profile value(in virtual USD) at the end of the contest will be deemed the winner. There is a countdown located in the "Contest Winners" tab under the link "Monthly Profile" to let members know how much time is left in each contest.
Should there be a tie in Profile values, the member that joined Fanranker.com first will be deemed the winner. Please review the Fanranker "Point System" in order to familiarize yourself with how points are counted towards your Profile. Also, members may follow their ranking status via the "Profile Rankings" tab located in the main menu bar.
Annual Fanvatar Contest This contest will be offered next year.
Point System The below points pertain to the values that will be counted towards your monthly and annual Profile ranking. Please note - The monthly values reset every month and the annual values reset every year(All values below are in USD):

Fanranker Forum This is an area in the site that allows members to communicate with each other via posting threads or live chat. This forum is moderated and only allows members to enter postings.
Sunday Sound Bite Contest This is a weekly contest for All-Star members only. Every Sunday, a sports-related photo will be posted on the Fanranker.com site under the "Sound Bites" link. Each member will have the ability to record the most funny, crazy, witty, and creative sound bite via telephone about the sports-related photo.
The sound bites will be judged by the general public and other members. Ranking will be based on the net value of Rank-it/Trash-it points and next by the number of Listens. For example, if the Rank-it/Trash-it points are equal for two or more sound bite entries, the Listens will be the ranking factor. The sound bite that is ranked the highest at the end of the contest will be deemed the winner. Also, there is a countdown at the top of the contest page that lets you know how much time is remaining in the contest. Should there be a tie, the member that posted/uploaded the earliest sound bite will be deemed the winner. Prizes will be provided and announced in the Fanranker prizes page.
